TECHNICAL EXPERTISE
I am highly trained as a specialist in Internal Medicine with over 20 years of experience in both in-hospital intensive care and clinical medicine. My expertise covers many sub-fields of medical practice including: diagnosis of difficult or obscure problems, asthma management, diabetes management, nutrition counseling, performing and reading EKGs, evaluating labs and imaging tests, geriatric issues, neurological function testing, skin biopsies, psycho-social evaluation, prescriptions, drug interactions, trans-gender care, and hormone treatment, just to list a few.
EXTRA BENEFITS
Included with your membership are annual physicals, gynecological exams, in-house EKGs, skin biopsies, psycho-social evaluation, possible courtesy visits at hospitals when available, minor wound care, cryogenic wart and skin lesion removal, abscess care, education, counseling, and providing house-calls in special cases. All at no further cost to you. Other extras in the works are the following items at significantly reduced costs: lab tests; imaging such as x-rays and MRIs; and numerous prescription medications via an in-house dispensary.
MEDICATIONS
ONLY WHAT YOU REALLY NEED
Sometimes life style changes are not enough and medication is needed to ensure good health. I try to prescribe as few medications as possible and search for and adjust medications to find ones with the fewest side-effects. I also strive to prevent dangerous drug interactions, and work with you to integrate alternative herbs and supplements prescribed by other health professionals. I also plan to have an in-house medication dispensary providing many of the prescription drugs you need at drastically reduced prices.
MEDICAL ADVICE & LIFESTYLE COUNSELLING
I offer medical advice and counseling. I really care about my patients and cherish getting to know them. My patients know that what they tell me remains confidential, so they are comfortable sharing with me. That allows for a better understanding of how best to help them.
COORDINATION OF CARE
When you need help, I can act as your medical partner, coordinating care with sub-specialists, caregivers, hospitals, surgeons, labs, imaging centers, pharmacies, care facilities, family members and hospice.
